accessible parts, have a marking stating that the
equipment must be connected to an earthed mains
socket-outlet. The marking text shall be:
"Apparatet må tilkoples jordet stikkontakt"

In Norway, the screen of the cable
distribution system is normally not earthed at the
entrance of the building and there is normally no
equipotential bonding system within the building.
Therefore the protective earthing of the building
installation need to be isolated from the screen of a
cable distribution system. It is however accepted
to provide the insulation external to the equipment
by an adapter or an interconnection cable with
galvanic isolator, which may be provided by e.g. a
retailer.
