Front Connections
System Display
The selected surround mode is shown in the
upper right-hand corner. The graphic frequency
analyzer indicates the distribution of energy at
five specified frequencies (160 Hz, 400 Hz,
1 kHz, 6.3 kHz, 16 kHz) and summed (Total).
The analyzer can be turned on/off by holding 
Set
FL (front or remote) pressed for min.
3 seconds. Depending on the setting the display
will read 
SA OFF or SA ON briefly.
Additional indicators in the display change to
match the selected source. These display
elements will be described in connection with
the presentation of the tuner and CD Changer.
Video 2 In
Audio and video from an external component
(DVD player, camcorder, computer games, etc.)
can be connected to the phono sockets at the
front lower right corner of the Controller. Select
this source by pressing

5 repeatedly until VIDEO 2
appears in the display.
Headphones
Connect the standard 6.3 mm jack from a pair
of stereo headphones to this input. When
headphones are connected, loudspeaker outputs
are muted, surround modes are turned off
(Bypass) and the Volume function controls the
headphone sound level.
