2-2. Switching Regulator
1.
Remove the front door assembly. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
2.
Remove the ribbon door. (Refer to Section 1-2-2.)
3.
Remove the cabinet (L) assembly. (Refer to Section 1-2-3.)
4.
Remove the FT panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-2-4.)
5.
Remove the screw, then remove the earth lug from the
F chassis assembly.

6.
Remove the cord retainer from the cabinet (R) assembly.
7.
Remove the switching regulator in the direction shown
by the arrow.
8.
Disconnect the two harnesses from the connectors (P1
and P2) on the switching regulator.
9.
Attach the switching regulator in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 8.

. When attaching the switching regulator, be sure to

securely attach it to the three grooves of the PS
cover.

securely hook the harness and earth lug to the
notches of the PS cover.
