5. OPERATION CHECKS
When the following parts are replaced, perform the operation checks.
• Complete MAIN board
• Front cover assy
• Touch
• Front cover assy

Procedure:
1. Insert the AC adapter to turn the power on.
2. Confirm that the standby lamp has lit up green, and press the [MENU]

4. Press the [MENU] button on the main unit, and confirm that “MENU”
on the screen changes to red. At this time, confirm simultaneously
that LCD back light luminosity falls.

6. Copy the image file (800x480 pixel, JPEG) to the root folder of SD
card on PC, and insert the SD card in the card slot on the main unit.

7. Touch the “LCD(SD)” button, and confirm that the images are dis-
played normally.

played image changes.

15. Confirm that it is under wireless LAN environment.
Note
6: When you are not in wireless LAN environment, move to the place
which can receive wireless LAN, and perform the confi rmation.
16. Confirm that “AP name” is displayed.

18. The subsequent works are different by the exchanged parts.
• When front cover assy or touch panel are exchanged:
Unplug the AC adaptor to turn the power off, and end “OPERA-
TION CHECKS”.
• When complete MAIN board is exchanged:
Perform the work of step 19, 20, and end “OPERATION CHECKS”.
19. Touch the “Restore all settings” button, and wait until the display
changes to “Finish”.
Note
7: “Restore all settings” takes about 5 minutes.
Please do not touch the touch panel by any means during work.
When 6 minutes pass and “Restore all settings” is not completed,
unplug the AC adaptor, and redo work from the beginning.

Note
8: In the repair whitch does not exchange the complete MAIN board,
do not perform “Restore all settings”.
All the informations (settings, built-in memory etc.) are cleared.
