3. ADJUSTMENT

3-1. WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
Adjust the white balance when the Front Assy or MAI-010 PC Board
Assy (Service) was replaced.

Procedure
1. Insert the plug of the AC adaptor into DC IN 9V terminal on the

2. Release the [MENU] button and [ENTER] button when a “S-Frame”
logo appears.
3. After displaying an initial screen of the service mode, move the cur-
sor to “LCD W/B adjust” by pressing the [V] [v] button, and press
the [ENTER] button. (Fig. 3-1-1)
4. A stepped image of 8 lines will be displayed, and after about 15
seconds, adjust the “offset” value with [V] [v] [B] [b] buttons so
that the image is not colored. For [V] [v] [B] [b] buttons, the left and
right direction buttons adjust “R” while the up and down direction
buttons adjust “B”. (Fig. 3-1-2)

3-2. VCOM ADJUSTMENT
Adjust the VCOM when the Front Assy or MAI-010 PC Board Assy
(Service) was replaced.
Preparation
Remove MAI-010 PC Board Assy (Service) and KEY-011 PC Board
Remove MAI-010 PC Board Assy (Service) and KEY-011 PC Board
Assy from Rear Assy, and attach them to Front Assy for preparing that
the service mode will be displayed. (Fig. 3-2-1)
3. After displaying an initial screen of the service mode, move the
cursor to “LCD Calibrate” by pressing the [V] [v] button, and press
the [ENTER] button. (Fig. 3-2-2)
6. Move the cursor to “OK” by pressing the [B] [b] button, and press
the [ENTER] button to return to the initial screen of the service
mode. (Fig. 3-1-3)
5. When the adjustment finished, press the [ENTER] button.
4. After displaying a rainbow colored screen, press [V] or [B] button
one time for displaying a gray colored screen flickering.
5. While watching screen, rotate RV100 by using a ceramic Phillips
screwdriver for eliminating as much as possible of flicker on the
screen. (Fig. 3-2-3)

SETTING”.
8. Turn off the power pressing the 1 (on/standby) button for about a
second and unplug the AC adaptor.
