Correction
Open the lens barrier by turning on the power and turn power off
by putting battery off or pulling out power cord.  Turn power on
again and check the iris blades in the lens move precisely.
In case of the iris blades doesn’t move, inspect the iris motor
drive outputs (CN1002 pins qs to qg on VC-557 board).
In case of the iris blades move, inspect the iris reset sensor
outputs (CN1002 pins 1 to 3 on VC-557 board).
Inspect PITCH angular velocity sensors (SE6601 on the FR-298
board) peripheral circuits.
Inspect YAW angular velocity sensors (SE6601 on the FR-298
board) peripheral circuits.
Refer to [1-5-1. E : 62 : 02 (Abnormality of IC for Steadyshot)
Occurred].
Inspect the steadyshot circuit (IC5501 on the VC-557 board).
Replacement of lens block. If an error occurs again, replace the
VC-557 board. (Note 2)

Inspect the flash memory (IC2101 on the VC-557 board).
Inspect the flash memory  (IC2101 on he VC-557 board). If it is
OK, check the CPU (IC1701 on the VC-557 board).
XR500V/XR500VE/XR520V/XR520VE
Check whether the flexible board of the GPS module is broken,
and check whether it is inserted imperfectly. If there is no
problem the flexible board, inspect or replacement of the GPS
module.
XR500V/XR500VE/XR520V/XR520VE
Inspect or replacement of the hard disk drive.
Note 2 : When the lens block was replaced, start the Adjust Manual in the Adjust Station and execute the necessary adjustment
items.
After the adjustment, make sure with the STEADYSHOT turned ON that the steadyshot functions appropriately in the
handheld operation.
