1. When removing the main PC board assy, disconnect three connectors and unsolder one soldered portion.
When installing the main PC board assy, connect three connectors and solder one location.
2. Affix the PI film tape (No.5413) 14X33m cut as instructed to the location shown in the figure.

1. Apply the grease (G-62) to the pattern side of F.ECD board.
2. Affix the vibration proof sheet to the focus brush and fix the focus brush to the unit with two screws.
3. After adjusting the position of focus brush, apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of two screws.

Installation Procedure when not disassembling the Middle Barrel Block
Adhesive bond (B-10): J-6082-612-A

1. Apply the grease (G-48) of the indicated portion of MF linkage barrel B.
2. Rotate clockwise the rotary barrel assy as far as it goes.
3. Hook the function lever to the driving wheel pin.
4. Set the unit to the TELE end and rotate clockwise the 2nd linkage barrel assy as far as it goes.

5. Adjust the position with the positioning pin and push the middle barrel block as far it goes to the WIDE end while threading the flex-
ible guide and the function lever through the inner side of middle barrel block and installing two convex portions to two grooves of MF
linkage barrel B.

6. Apply two drops of adhesive bond (B-10) to tips of screws and tighten six screws marked with A.
7. Tighten one screw marked with B and apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of seven screws.
