Adjustments order

4-2-7. Set Language Destination
Language Destination Set:
Save “lang.txt” document in the root directory of the
Memory Stick PRO Duo
used.
The content of “lang.txt” as follows:
Language Destination (for example: U2) (enter key)
Product ID (10bit) (enter key) (refer to “4-3. PRODUCT ID LIST”)
S/N(7bit)(enter key)
Now as DSC-W310 sliver camera U2 Lang Destination setting for the lang.txt document example.

Especially Attention:
1. The enter key must be the end symbol each row.
2. The Product ID refer to “4-3. PRODUCT ID LIST”. And the Product ID must be 10 bit.
If the Product ID less than 10 bit, add 0 before the Product ID.
3. The S/N must be 7 bit. It refer to the serial number of shipment.

In case of the set language destina-
tion is failed, reset the language
destination.
Set the unit to the adjustment mode.
* For the setting procedure of the adjustment mode, refer to “PREPARATIONS” (Page 4-2).
Press the Shutter button (Key S1), then Set Language Destination.
Confirm the indication
on the screen.

In case of the adjustment is finished normally.
The adjustment completion indication appears
on the screen. (Fig. 4-2-35)
Turn off the power to quit the adjustment mode.
In case of the adjustment is finished abnormally.
The following indication appears on the screen.

In this case, confirm the adjusting environment
and readjust.
