2.  Installation
NOTE: Before installation, be sure to turn both the  operation and
main  power  switches  off  and disconnect the  power  plug
from the power outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp
on the operation panel does not light up or blink when per-
forming installation.
A. Attaching the cushion
1) Attach the front surface cushion (Long) (Packed items No. 19)
and the front surface cushion (Short) (Packed items No. 20) to
the reference as shown below.
B. Paper guide B (bundled with the decurler unit) 
installation 
(When installing the paper folding machine)
1) Attach  the  Black Mylar   (Packed  items  No.10)  to  the  paper
guide B.
Attach  the  Black Myla r  to  the  downstream  side  of  the  paper
guide.
Attachment reference
Attach to the notch in the rear side as the reference.
2) Fix  the  connection  plate L/R  (Finisher  side)  (Packed  items
No.4  and  5) to   the p aper  exit side of  the  inserter  with  the
screws (Packed items No.18 Screw 4x6L).
3) Install the paper guide B (bundled with the decurler unit No.12)
to the paper exit side of the inserter  with the screws (bundled
with the decurler unit No.1).
NOTE: When connecting the MX-RB13 to the back, attach the
paper guide D (bundled with the relay unit No. 9).
C. Earth plate installation
1) Remove the earth plate from the lower section of the  inserter
and turn the removed earth plate back and attach it as shown
in the photo below..
2) Attach the earth plate (Packed items  No.7), and fix it with the
screw (Packed items No.18).

Attach the cushion (Short) in 
series with the cushion (Long).
