Open the top door, and remove the fixing tape and protection
material.

Check that all the items are included in the package.

<Note before installation>
* Before installing the MX-CFX1, unpack the MX-FNX3 or MX-

FNX4.

Fix the FIN connection fixture B (Package part No. 7) to the
FIN connection fixture A (Package part No. 6) with the fixing
screws (Package part No. 1).
* Be careful that a fixed part of FIN connection fixture B is dif-

ferent according to the three kind of combination of con-
nected equipment. (MX-FNX4 only, MX-FNX4 and MX-
PNX2, MX-FNX3 and MX-PNX2)

Fix the FIN connection fixture A (Package part No. 6) to the fin-
isher with the fixing screws (Package part No. 1).

* The connection fixture F and R installed in the inserter are differ-

ent depending on the model that connects inserters. Use the
connection fixture F/R and the fixing screws bundled to the
model (MX-PNX2, MX-FNX3, MX-FNX4) that connects inserters.

• Connection fixture F/R for MX-PNX2

(Screw used for installation : Package part No.4 of MX-PNX2)
