Replacing Fiery AR-PE2 board components

Make sure you attach an ESD grounding wrist strap and follow standard ESD

1.
Handle the hard disk drive with care.
Do not touch it with magnetic objects or place any objects near it that are sensitive to
magnets. See “Proper handling” on page 3-15.

2.
Align the mounting holes on the HDD with the screw holes on the Fiery AR-PE2 board.

Insert the pins of the HDD interface connector into board connector J207.
If the mounting holes on the HDD are aligned with the screw holes on the Fiery AR-PE2

4.
Secure the HDD to the board with four screws through the holes on the back of the

5.
Reassemble the unit and verify functionality.

If the HDD is a replacement, install system software as described on page 3-20.
