On the Destinations page, click the New File Destination button.  This will display the New File
Destination page.
Enter a name of your choice in the Destination Name field.  This name will appear in the list of
destinations on the AXIS 700 LCD screen.  In this example, SharpFTP is used (see below).
Select the required scanning profile for the destination from the Scanning Profile list.  This will be
the scanning profile used by default.  You may select any profile stored on the scan server by
selecting it from the menu keys just prior to scanning.
From the Include Image Information list you can select the amount of information you want to
send with the scanned image.  The information is stored in a text file in the same directory as the
image.
Enter the name or IP address of the FTP server in the FTP Server field.  If you decide to use the
name of the FTP server instead of the IP address you need to configure the DNS entries in the
TCP/IP section of the Network Settings page.
If the FTP server allows anonymous connections, or if you intend to use the default user name
and password (configured on the Destination Defaults page), you do not need to enter any
information in the User and Password fields.  A Username and Password must be entered for
the scan server to use if you do not allow anonymous connections to the FTP server.
Specify the directory in which the images will be stored in the Directory field.  If left blank, the
files will be stored in the FTP root directory.
Specify the name of the file in the File Name field.  If left blank, the default (see the Destination
Defaults page) will be used. The defaults for the following four fields will also be used.  By default
the file will be named imgxxx.tif, where xxx is the sequence number.
If you do not want the file to be over-written every time a new image is stored, you should select
the Append sequence number to file name option.  This means that a unique number will be
appended to the file name each time a new file is created.
