Venta System  Maintenance    

Three Icons will be installed onto the Desktop of Windows 98, File Maintenance, Network
Drive Startup & Venat POS. Venta POS settings can be adjusted from here.

1.  Right click the Icon and select properties OR select the ICON and press Shift F10 on a PC

Keyboard and select properties.

2.  Under the “Target” heading you will see :-

C:\SAPP\EXE\S2001.EXE /bc:\sapp /s2

This is the command line selection, the settings are

/b

Sets the base directory for application running (Default C:\SAPP) NO space
should be put between the b and the folder name.

/s

Selects the screen definition “1” is 800 x 600 and “2” is 1024 x 768. “0” is for
640 x 480 but should not be used, this could cause text overlap problems.

/c

Switches off the mouse pointer

So to RUN Venta at 800 x 600 from \SAPP with NO mouse pointer the following should be
entered

C:\SAPP\EXE\S2001.EXE /bc:\sapp /s1 /c
