Q. How do I setup a training Clerk 

A. PGM2 - Setting - Training text/clk 
 

Q. Can I have a network TCPIP printer connected to my UP3500? 

A. Yes, The UP3500 supports network printers. Once you have the hardware 
(TCPIP I/F Card for printer) you need to run the software from your supplier to 
enter the IP address. Then enter the last TCPIP number as the Terminal Number 

in Device Config of your selected printer on the UP3500 
 

Q. The Price Shift Level appears to be selecting an incorrect level. 

A. The reason for this is that Happy Hour is also running at the same time on the 
terminal. If this is the case the 1

 Price Level Shift number becomes the current 

Happy Hour for example if on Happy Hour 3 Price Shift 1 becomes Price Shift 3. 

Please bear this in mind and configure your system accordingly.

 

 

 
79. Removal of Discount line from a transaction. (Void a discount) 
Q. Is it possible to remove the discount line alone from a transaction. 

A. Yes, if the UP3500 has been set to allow voids simply touch the discount line 
in the receipt window and press the VOID key.

 

 
 
80. Removal of Discount line from a transaction after NBal or Final. 
(Void a discount after Table Away) 
Q. Is it possible to remove the discount line alone from a transaction after the 
table has been recalled from a NBal or Final status. 

A. It is not possible to void the discount line once the table has been stored 
away. However you could use the RECALL feature to recall the transaction void 
this and re enter without the discount. (This only applies to ROM Version below 

1.10).

Q. Is it possible to void only the very last entry and prohibit voiding other items 
by the operator? 

A. Yes, please carry out the settings within PGM2/ OPTIONAL/FUNC PROHIBIT/ 

set NO ISSUE VOID to Public and limit the other void settings then change SRV
