The day number is automatically incremented by the system clock.
Amongst other things, the day number is printed at the top of the printed
reports.
On these machines unlike some of the other models, the report
information is stored against the day number.
This functionality means that the server can recall a previously printed
report within a seven day period and re-print that report simply by
selecting the day number.
The week number is also automatically incremented by the system
clock and the number is printed on period reports.
The next field is the End of week day.
This number is set for your customers, if they require a weekly report to
be carried out automatically on a particular day number.
For example they may require the weekly report to be printed on the
seventh day of each week, therefore 7 would be set as the end of week
day, then on the seventh day after the end of day report has been taken
the weekly report would automatically be printed.
If you don’t want the weekly or periodic report as it may be better
understood, to take place automatically, then you would enter a zero
here, that way the server can go to the report screen and take these
periodic reports whenever is appropriate.
The next area is a set of flags which relate to the reports that you want
the system to generate at the End of day.
They are:-
End of day log:- This will print out  the machine numbers that have been
part of the end of day consolidation report, therefore it will show if any of
the terminals have been missed.
End of day product sales
End of day department sales
End of day server sales
End of day group sales
End of day open table report
End of day covers analysis report
