OVERVIEW
Keyboard macros enable you to set up one key on the terminal keyboard which will perform
several key depressions when pressed by the server.  For example, you could set up a macro
for a £5 fast cash button which will be the same as the server pressing 5  0  0  and Cash.
The numbers displayed in the first column are line numbers only and do not relate to the macro
itself.  The second column denotes the macro number and the third column is where you
define the key depressions you want to perform.  When you set up a macro, it may be entered
on one or more line numbers.  Where you use more than one line, the macro numbers should
be the same so that the system will perform the key depressions in sequence starting with the
first macro line then the second and so on.  If you enter another macro line to an existing
macro number, the lines may be separated on the display.  The system will automatically sort
the lines when the  function is terminated and the next time the  keyboard macros details are
displayed, all related macro lines will be displayed consecutively.  When the keyboard macro is
actioned on the terminal, the system will perform the key depressions in the order in which they
were entered onto the system (where relevant line by line).
Having entered the keyboard macro keys, you should then allocate a key position on the
terminal keyboard using the Keyboard File function.  Each keyboard macro is identified in the
keyboard file by the letter M followed by the keyboard macro number, for example, M01 would
be keyboard macro number 1.
