• HOOK Detection
The SLIC/CODEC provides a programmable off-hook detection mechanism.
The off-hook detection scheme provides two unique thresholds to allow hysteresis, and also includes a programmable debounce
filter to eliminate false detection.

• Ring Trip Feature
During ringing, the ring current is permanently sensed by the SLIC.
When the handset of a ringing telephone is picked up, the current is compared against the programmed ring trip threshold.
If it is above the programmed ring trip threshold, the ringing signal automatically stop and move to the off-hook status.
