Hardware Description
4.2.1.
Function Description
KX-NCP0158CE is the Cell Station (CS) for NCP series. CS converts voice data from PBX to radio signal and transmits to
DECT Portable Station (PS). Conversely CS converts radio signal from PS to voice data and transmits to PBX.
This unit is composed of 2 different PCBs. One is the Control Board to handle voice data and control data from PBX.
The other is the RF module to transmit and receive RF signal.

4.2.2.
Power Supply Circuit
There are 2 ways by which power is supplied to KX-NCP0158CE.
One is AC adapter, and the other is through PoE feeding.
AC Adapter input is 9V and PoE feeding is 48 V.
In CS, 7.2V power is generated from 9V or 48V, and power utilized in each IC of CS is generated from this 7.2V of power.
Moreover, electrical double layer capacitors are employed as a source of backup with a power of 7.2V to provide uninterrupted
power supply.

Reset Circuit
IC102 (Reset IC) supplies power on reset signal to IC100 (CPU) and IC206 (Flash ROM).
IC100 (CPU) supplies each reset signals to IC500 (FPGA), IC600 (BBIC) and IC601 (Flash ROM) by I/O ports of IC100, and to
IC300 (DSP) and IC400 (PHY) by I/O ports of IC500.
