F60 (Front-side gain
adjustment error)

50 00 00 00 1. ADF Glass (F) is dirty.

Clean the glass surface. (See 7.2.)

2. CIS (F) LED does not light.

1. Execute “CIS Level” test in Sec. 9.3.6
    to check the peak level after turning the
    Reference Plate (F) to white.
2. Check whether the CIS (F) LED lights
    during CIS Level test. 
3. Check the following connections and
    soldering condition on each connector:
       a. CIS (F) to CN3001 and CN3002 
             (CIS (F) RELAY Board)
       b. CN3004 (CIS (F) RELAY Board)
           to CN2009 (CENTER Board)
4. Check the LED control circuits on the
    CENTER Board.
   

→ Q2010,Q2012,Q2016,Q2018,Q2022,

         Q2024 and their surrounding parts.
5. Replace faulty parts or boards.

3. Pixel data from CIS (F) or
    image processing circuit
    has some problems

1. Check the following connections and
    soldering condition on each connector:
       a. CN3004 and CN3005 (CIS (F)
           RELAY Board) to CN2008   and
           CN2009 (CENTER Board)
2. Check the following power supply for
    the CIS (F) RELAY Board:
    

→ CN3004-7th or 8th pin: 12 V

    

→ CN3004-9th or 10th pin: 5 V

3. Check the soldering condition of the
    IC2009 to IC2012, and their
    surrounding parts on the CENTER
    Board.
4. Replace faulty parts or boards.

F61 (Front-side
black level error)

51 00 00 00 1. Pixel data from CIS (F) or

    image processing circuit
    has some problems.

1. Execute “CIS Level” test in Sec.9.3.6
    to check the peak level.
2. Replace the CIS (F) or CENTER 
    Board.
