5.2. Adjustment Procedure-2
(E.V.R. Adjustment)
Note) This adjustment is required in the following cases;
1. Replacing the Optical Ass'y (CCD).
2. Replacing the Sensor Board.
3. Replacing the EEPROM (Sensor Board IC305).
4. Replacing the Main Board.

Insert new disk containing the E.V.R. Adjustment pro-
gram into IBM PC/AT and turn on the Power Switch of
IBM PC/AT.

When starting an adjustment, at the prompt, type 
RADJ2 NW474E and press the ENTER key, an initial
menu will be displayed in Table 5-1.

Press the SAVE(F5) key of the Computer, then the
Computer will ask you for the file name.

 Type xxxxxxxx.EV2 0 27F. Give an appropriate file
name for xxxxxxxx within 8 letters, but do not use
NW474E.

Press the ENTER key.

This saving procedure is recommended to keep the cur-
rent adjustment status of the Camera.
8
Press the LOAD(F1) key and type NW474E.EV2  and
press the ENTER key for presetting adjustment of the
Camera.

Confirm the Colour Temperature at 3 200°K.

Aim the Camera at the Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart.

Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75 
to the
Video Output Connector.

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the signal level
becomes 805 mV       mV as shown in Fig. 5-3.

(1.2). Line Lock Subcarrier Frequency 
Adjustment 
Test Point:
TD100 (SC VCXO)

Connect the Frequncy Counter to TD100 or TD101.

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Line Lock
Subcarrier Frequency becomes 17.73447 MHz ± 40 Hz.

Press the ENTER key for next adjustment.
(3). ALC DC Adjustment
Test Point:
RAM (8090)

Keep the Colour Temperature at 3 200°K.
8
Aim the Camera at the Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart.
8
Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the measured
Level becomes between 00 and 05.

Press the ENTER key for next adjustment.
(4). Video Output Gain Adjustment
Test Point:
Video Output Connector

Keep the Colour Temperature at 3 200°K.
8
Aim the Camera at the Logarithmic Gray Scale Chart.
8
Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75 
to the
Video Output Connector.
8
Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Video sig-
nal level becomes 700 mV ± 50 mV as shown in Fig. 5-4.
(1). Subcarrier Frequency Adjustment 
Test Point:
TD100 (SC VCXO)
Main Board

Connect the Frequncy Counter to TD100 or TD101.

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Subcarrier
Frequency becomes 17.73447 MHz ± 40 Hz.

Press the ENTER key for next adjustment.
