When the camera controller is operated, the Pan Motor Control signal is
supplied to pin27 of IC201 through the Slip Ring.
The Pan Motor Control signal is separated in IC201 then it is supplied to pinY6
of IC2. The control data is converted to 8-bits parallel data (AD1-AD8) and it is
output from of IC2 then supplied to pin61-69 of IC1 (CPU).
In IC1, the 8-bits parallel data is converted to the serial data. Then this serial
data (SADOUT) is output from pin99 of IC1 then supplied to pin58 of IC6
(CPU) on the Servo Board via CN4, pin16 (Digital Board)

Board).
The motor drive data is output from pin15 of IC6 and it is supplied to pin17 of
IC7 (D/A Converter). The output signal from pin18,pin4 of IC7 are supplied to
pin3,pin5 of IC9 (OP Amp.) The output signal from pin1 of IC9 is supplied to
pin22 of IC15 (Pan Motor Driver).
The Pan Motor is a stepping motor. The power for the Pan Motor is output
from pin3(U),pin4(V),pin6(W) of IC15.
When the panning direction becomes reversed, the reverse command is
output from pin19 of IC6 and it is supplied to pin24 of IC15.
The H1,H2,H3 pulses are fed back from Pan Motor to pin9-pin16 of IC15.
These signals are used for detecting the panning speed of Pan Motor.
There is a Hall IC (MRA/MRB) on the Pan Motor board. This Hall IC
generates 2 pulses and they are supplied to pin4, pin7 of IC11 (Pan Position
Detector) via CN5, pin11,pin17. The IC11 counts the number of pulses then
it is supplied to IC6, pin63,pin64. Then IC6 finds out the position of the Pan
Motor.
The Pan Hall IC (VS1) is located on the Servo Board. When this VS1 scans
the magnet, which is located on the chassis, VS1 generates one pulse and it
is supplied to pin3 of IC8. The output signal from IC8, pin8 is supplied to pin55
of IC6 (CPU).
