WV-CS950 series Circuit Explanation
Video Signal Flow
These camers are composed of 5 circuit boards such as, Sensor Board, Main
Board, Servo Board, Communication Board and Power Board.
The Main Board consists of 3 sub-circuit boards such as Drive Board, Digital
Board and Auto Focus Board.
The WV-CS950 has 3 CUPs – they are located on the Main board, Servo board
and Communication baord.
The CCD output signal from Sensor Board enters to the Drive Board,IC1501
pin27 (S/H, AGC, Gamma, Amp. A/D).    The output signal from IC1501 is a 12
bits digital signal.
The 12bits digital video signal (ADC(0-11)) is supplied to IC2 (Process/Encoder)
on the Digital Board.
IC2 generates Y-signal (pinW15), C-signal (pinW16), Sync-signal (pinAB6) and
Data 1 (pinAA5).
These signals are supplied to pin39, pin34, pin37 and pin36 of IC201 (Video
Out) respectively.    IC201 is located on the Auto Focus board.
In IC201, the composite video output signal is made and is output from pin28.
The video output signal is supplied to the CN4, pin3 on the Digital board then
enters to the Servo Board via CN1, pin22.  After that this video signal is
supplied to the amplifier circuit (Q6-Q14) then it enters to the Slip Ring.
After passing the Slip Ring, the video output signal is appeared at the CN, pin7
on the Communication Board.
[There is a photo coupler in the Slip Ring.    Only the video output signal passes
the photo coupler.  The other signals such as RS485 signal, alarm signal,
12VDC, LP, Dip SW pass the brush contacts in the Slip Ring.]
Q19-Q33 circuit in the Communication Board amplifies the video output signal
from photo coupler.   After that, the video output signal appears at CN3, pin3
then it goes out to the BNC cable through the Base Unit.
