EN 61000-3-2 EQUIPMENT CLASSIFICATION
Per sections 5 of EN61000-3-2
Class A: Balanced three-phase equipment, Incandescent dimmers and all
other equipment, except as stated in one of the following classes.
Class B: Portable tools.
Class C: lighting equipment, including dimming devices other than
incandescent.
Class D: Equipment having an input current of less than or equal to
600 watts and being a Personal Computer and monitor or a Television
Receiver.
Under this standard and amendments, no limits apply to equipment,
excepting Class C, that consumes less than or equal to 75 Watts and
Professional equipment greater than 1kW.
