Here is the way to align the binder’s creep in feeding direction when performing the saddle
stitch function.
If the misalignment of the paper fold is out of specification in the field, follow the
instruction below to align it.
(Specification)
1) The most inner paper (indicated by the arrow (a) in below figure) of the saddle folded
papers is subjected to measurement and should be within the following range:
2) Unfold the saddle stitched paper to measure and it should be within the following range:

(How to align)
When the binder’s creep is out of the specification, align it to be within the specification by
[fine tuning Saddle stitch location/fold location].
Fine-tuning procedure of Saddle stitch location/fold location
Tune each paper size with the code of the adjustment mode (05) in the machine.
For procedure, refer to the Service Manual (Service Handbook).

If the upper side of the actual output paper is longer (A), the value is increased.
If the upper side is shorter (B), the value is decreased.
Change of "1" value moves the fold location approx. 0.25mm.
