Introducing and Using the different Menu systems
Your projection TV uses an On-Screen Display menu system to guide you through the operations.
This projection TV has 2 different Menu Systems as follows:
a) 
"General TV Menus"
This 
menu 
system 
is 
available 
when 
watching 
both, 
Digital 
and 
Analogue 
channels. 
The 
displays 
of 
this 
menu 
system 
will 
help 
you to alter the picture settings, sound settings etc. For more details, please refer to the relevant sections of the chapter "
The 
General TV Menus" (pages 14 - 20).
b) 
"Digital Menus"
This 
menu 
system 
is 
only 
available 
when 
watching 
Digital 
channels 
and 
gives 
you 
information 
on 
the 
programmes 
currently 
being show, etc. This menu also contains a submenu called “Main Menu” which allows you to customise the Digital  side of 
your TV etc. For more details, please refer to the relevant sections of the chapter "The Digital Menus" (pages 21 - 27).
To operate any of the above menu systems, use the following buttons:

To switch on the:
• "General TV Menus", press the 
MENU
 button.
• "Digital Menus", press the 
 button.

 To navigate through the “General TV Menus”:
• To highlight the desired menu or option, press 
V

• To enter the selected menu or option, press

• To return to the last menu or option, press
 
B
.
• To alter the settings of your selected option, press

.
• To confirm and store your selection, press

.

To navigate through the “Digital Menus”:

Coloured 
buttons 
(red, 
green, 
yellow

blue)

to

The Picture Adjustment Menu
The “Picture Adjustment”  menu allows you to alter the 
picture adjustments.
To do this:
Once 
you 
have

Picture Mode
This option allows you to customise the picture mode based on the programme you are 
watching. After selecting this option press

Live
 (for live broadcast programmes, DVD and Digital Set Top Box receivers).
Personal
 (for individual settings).
Movie
 (for films).
Contrast
Press 
or

 to reduce or enhance picture contrast.
Brightness
Press

 to darken or brighten the picture.
Brightness can only be altered if “Picture Mode” is set to “Personal”.
Colour
Press
 
or 
b
 to decrease or to increase color intensity.
Colour can only be altered if “Picture Mode” is set to “Personal”.
Hue
Press
 
or 
b
 to decrease or to increase the green tones.
This option only appears for NTSC signal (e. g. USA video tapes)
Sharpness
Press
 
or 
b
 to soften or to sharpen the picture.
Sharpness can only be altered if  “Picture Mode” is set to “Personal”.
Reset
Press
 
OK
 to reset the picture to the factory preset levels.
Noise Reduction
This option is set to 
AUTO
 to automatically reduce the picture noise visible in the 
broadcast signal. To cancel this function, select “Off” instead of “AUTO”.
Noise Reduction can only be altered if you are in Analogue mode.
