VCOM Adjustment
The VCOM adjustment is required when the “LCD MODULE”,
“LCD PANEL ASSY”, or “SERVICE, LCD-012 PC BOARD
ASSY” was replaced.
Preparation:
Make preparation so that the service mode can be started with the
rear panel removed.
Adjusting method:
1. Start the service mode. (Refer to 3-1. SERVICE MODE)
2. Match the cursor to “LCD Calibrate” and push the [ENTER]
button.
3. Observing a black image displayed first (for VCOM check-
ing), rotate the RV800 control on the LCD-012 board to adjust
so that the image does not flicker.
Adjustment part: RV800
4. When the adjustment finished, push the [ENTER] button to
return to the menu.
5. Turn off the Power pushing the power button.

SERVICE MODE
How to start the service mode:
1. Insert the plug of power cord into the AC adapter (AC-DPF200)
supplied to this unit, and insert another plug of power cord
into the outlet.
2. Insert the DC plug of the supplied AC adapter into the DC-IN
terminal of this unit.
3. Turn on the [Power Switch] while pushing the [MENU] but-
ton and the [ENTER] button. (The service mode starts.)
4. Release the buttons if an initial screen of the service mode is
displayed in LCD.

White Balance Adjustment
The white balance adjustment is required when the “LCD MOD-
ULE”,  “LCD PANEL ASSY”, or “SERVICE, MAI-007 PC
BOARD ASSY” was replaced.
Adjusting method:
1. Start the service mode. (Refer to 3-1. SERVICE MODE)
2. Match the cursor to “LCD W/B adjust” pushing the [
m] but-
ton several times, and push the [ENTER] button.
3. A stepped image of 8 lines will be displayed, and after about
15 seconds, adjust the offset value with [Direction (
</,/m/
M) buttons so that the image is not colored. (For [Direction
(
</,/m/M) buttons, the left and right direction buttons ad-
just R while the up and down direction buttons adjust B]
Note:
Check the image at the front of LCD. (Normally, the offset
value is R [0] B [0])
4. When the adjustment finished, push the [ENTER] button to
return to the menu.
5. Turn off the Power pushing the power button.
