The POWER switch should be set to

Operate by touching the panel.

(1) On the VCR, locate just before the insert start

point [a], then set the VCR to playback pause.

(2) On your camcorder, locate the insert end

point [c], then set it to playback pause.

(3) Press ZERO SET MEMORY on the Remote

Commander. The ZERO SET MEMORY
indicator flashes and the end point of the
insert is stored in memory. The tape counter
shows “0:00:00.”

(4) On your camcorder, locate the insert start

point [b].

(5) Press FN and select PAGE3.
(6) Press REC CTRL.
(7) Press REC PAUSE.
(8) First press X on the VCR, and after a few

seconds press REC START on your camcorder
to start inserting the new scene with sound.
Inserting automatically stops near the zero
point on the tape counter. Your camcorder
automatically stops recording. The zero set
memory function will be cancelled.

Press ZERO SET MEMORY on the Remote
Commander again after step 4 to erase the ZERO
SET MEMORY indicator and begin from step 2.

In step 5 to 7, press z REC and MARK
simultaneously, then immediately press X. In
step 8, press X at the scene where you want to
start recording from.

To insert a scene without setting the insert
end point
Skip step 2 and 3. Press x on the Remote
Commander or 

 on your camcorder when

you want to stop inserting.

magnétoscope en pause de lecture.

(2) Sur le caméscope, localisez le point de fin

d’insertion [c], puis mettez-le caméscope en
pause de lecture.

(3) Appuyez sur ZERO SET MEMORY de la

télécommande. L’indicateur ZERO SET
MEMORY clignote et le point de fin
d’insertion est mémorisé. Le compteur
indique « 0:00:00 ».

(4) Sur le caméscope, localisez le point de début

d’insertion [b].

(5) Appuyez sur FN et sélectionnez la PAGE3.
(6) Appuyez sur REC CTRL.
(7) Appuyez sur REC PAUSE.
(8) Appuyez d’abord sur X du magnétoscope et

quelques secondes plus tard sur REC START
du caméscope pour insérer la nouvelle
séquence et le son.
L’insertion s’arrête automatiquement quand
le compteur atteint approximativement zéro.
L’enregistrement s’arrête sur le caméscope. A
ce moment le point zéro est effacé.

Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur ZERO SET
MEMORY sur la télécommande après l’étape 4
pour supprimer l’indicateur ZERO SET
MEMORY et recommencez depuis l’étape 2.

Aux étapes 5 à 7, appuyez simultanément sur z
REC et MARK et immédiatement après sur X. A
l’étape 8, appuyez sur X à l’endroit où vous
voulez commencer la copie.

Pour insérer une scène sans marquer la fin de
l’insertion
Ignorez les étapes 2 et 3. Appuyez sur x sur la
télécommande ou sur 

 sur le caméscope à

l’endroit où vous voulez arrêter l’insertion.
