1-6.  REPLACING THE DISPLAY MODULE
Note: The Display Module is stuck with the Inner Cabinet Rear Assy with double-sided adhesive tape.
 
Disassemble and reassemble the Display Module according to the instructions.
1.  Remove the Cabinet Rear Ornamental Assy.
2.  Apply alcohol or ethanol to the area shown in the figure to remove the TP adhesive sheet (double-sided adhesive tape).

3.  Pull the cupule while heating the area shown in the figure with a blower to detach the Display Module.
Note: The Display Module cannot be re-used.
 
Discard the screw removed once in servicing.
 
In-stead, use a new Display Module.

4. Peel a new TP adhesive sheet off the release paper and attach it to the Inner Cabinet Rear Assy aligning their outlines.
5. Pass the Flexible Board of a new Display Module through the hole of the Inner Cabinet Rear Assy.
6. Stick the new Display Module to the TP adhesive sheet aligning the Display Module with the outline of the Inner Cabinet Rear Assy.
Note:  Match the Display Module accurately with the specified location and attach it tightly.

1-7.  PRECAUTION ON REPLACING THE SY-301, 302 BOARD
DESTINATION DATA
When you replace to the repairing board, the written destination data of repairing board also might be changed to original setting.
Start the Adjust Manual in the Adjust Station and execute the “DESTINATION DATA WRITE”.
RESTORE DATA
When you replace to the repairing board, get the data from the former one.
Start the Adjust Manual in the Adjust Station and perform “RESTORE DATA” to get the data. 
The data getting for this model is as follows.
• USB SERIAL No.
• Angular Velocity Sensor Sensitivity adjustment
• AWB standard data input & check, Color reproduction check
• Strobe Adj.
Note: When you cannot read data from the former replace the same time SY-301 board and lens.
Deleting Network Settings
Before replacing the SY-301 board, delete the customer’s network settings.
Perform “NETWROK SETTING RESET” on the ADJUST tab of the Adjust Manual.
Regarding the PlayMemories Home
PlayMemories Home has been written in internal memory.
SY-301 board for service is supplied with written the PlayMemories Home.
USB SERIAL No.
The set is shipped with a unique ID (USB Serial No.) written in it.
This ID has not been written in a new board for service, and therefore it must be entered after the board replacement.
Start the Adjust Manual in the Adjust Station and execute the “USB SERIAL No. INPUT”.
Angular Velocity Sensor
When replacing the SY-302 Board with a spare board, write down the indication of sensitivity of the angular velocity sensor (SE701) in advance.
Start the Adjust Manual in the Adjust Station and execute the “Angular velocity sensor sensitivity adj”.

Note 1: The sensor sensitivity of SE701 of SY-302 board is written only repair parts.
Note 2:  If the angular velocity sensor data cannot be acquired from the SY-301 Board before replacement due to reasons, such as that the unit cannot be turned on, both 
SY-301 Board and SY-302 Board must be replaced.
Update of MAC Address
When a board that contains Wi-Fi has been replaced or when replacing a board that contains the main IC (CPU), the IC’s unique number (MAC ad-
dress) must be reloaded.
Perform the following procedure to reload the IC’s unique number (MAC address).
1.  Download the latest-version Adjust manual from the TISS homepage.
2.  Install the downloaded Adjust manual.
3.  Perform “Wireless LAN check” on the ADJUST tab.
