The serial data for Network update inputs to DATA SELECTOR
(IC2507 11pin) and the signal outputs to SYSTEM CONTROLLER
(IC2513 134pin) and DATA SELECTER (IC2506 4, 5pin). By the
selecting data from SYSTEM CONTROLLER, the serial data for
Network update is sent to VIDEO SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC3610) or
DSP CONTROLLER (IC5208).

When you use RS-232C terminal for updating the set in service,
RS232C signal inputs from RS-232C terminal to DATA SELECTOR
(IC2507) through RS-232C DRIVER (IC1499). The updating operation
from DATA SELECTOR (IC2507) is same as Network update with LAN
port.

(Troubleshooting) Communication error with LAN port
When LAN port communication is not established, please check the PC
setting firstly. Especially, there are many cases the cause is Anti-virus
software or Firewall setting. And, please check the blinking of LED of
Router to confirm the signal communication physically. If the blinking of
LED is nothing at all, please check the connecter physically. (Soldering,
bad mechanical connection, etc.)
