NOTE  THE  BOARDS  REPLACING
When each boards are replaced, the data writing processing etc. 
are necessary. 
For details, refer to supplement-1.

ABOUT  CONNECTION  WITH  THE  WIRELESS  STEREO  
HEADPHONE  AFTER  NWZ-S763BT/S764BT  REPAIR
When NWZ-S763BT/S764BT settings are initialized, or when the 
boards and attached wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) 
are exchanged, it is necessary to make the Bluetooth connection. 
Make the Bluetooth connection according to the following proce-
dure.

Note 1: When the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) is ex-

changed, BD address in the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-
NWBT10) is changed.

 

Therefore, BD address registered into “WALKMAN” becomes 
invalid.

 

In order to search the device, press the key of wireless stereo 
headphone (MDR-NWBT10) for about 7 seconds, and search 
“WALKMAN”.

Prior confi rmation:
1. Confi rm that “WALKMAN” is NWZ-S763BT/S764BT by re-

ferring to “ABOUT THE METHOD OF DISTINGUISHING 
“WALKMAN”” (page 5).

2.  Delete the device of the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-

NWBT10) registered into “WALKMAN” at the time of factory 
shipments.

Deletion method:
1.  Press any key of “WALKMAN” to turn the power on.
2.  From the home menu, select “ ” 

 “Manage Added Devices”.

3.  Press the [OPTION/PWR OFF] key to bring up the option 

menu.

4.  Select “Delete Device” 

 “MDR-NWBT10”  “Yes”.

Note 2: In this sentence, the wireless stereo headphone (MDR-NWBT10) 

is written as Bluetooth headphones.

1.  Place your “WALKMAN” and the supplied Bluetooth head-

phones within 1 metre of each other.

2.  Press and hold the [

] button of the Bluetooth Headphones 

for approximately 2 seconds until the indicator starts to blink.

3.  Press any button to turn your “WALKMAN” on. If “HOLD” 

appears on the top of the screen, slide the [HOLD] switch.

4.  A “WALKMAN” screen message informs you that connection 

is automatically established. It may take some time to connect 
with the supplied Bluetooth Headphones. Wait for a while.

Note 3: If connection fails, press and hold the [OPTION/POWER OFF] 

key to turn off your “WALKMAN” (“WALKMAN” screen dis-
plays “POWER OFF”). Turn on your “WALKMAN” again, and 
re-establish Bluetooth connection with the headphones.

CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

ABOUT  THE  REPAIRING  OF  BOARD
When boards installed by this unit are defective, replace the entire 
board. Individual electrical parts that the mount is done cannot be 
exchanged.
Moreover, the EMMC board cannot exchange with single.
When exchange the EMMC board, exchange it at the same time as 
the MOTHER board.
The MOTHER board can be exchange alone.
