KEY  CHECK  MODE
Procedure:
1. Put a dry battery into the set and keep a battery lid open.
2. Turn on the [HOLD]  switch, then while pressing
the
Nx
button and the [GROUP] button, close a battery lid
and power supply is turned on.
3. “256M 4.05.08 G07” is displayed on the liquid crystal display.
4. Turn off the [HOLD] switch.
5. Press the
Nx
button.
6. “Check all keys” is displayed on the liquid crystal display and
key check mode is activated. Then, when each button is
pressed, it is displayed on liquid crystal display as follows.
[MENU] button:
“EL0: ON” or “EL0: OFF” (Liquid crystal display back light
(EL0 (blue)) turns on/off)
[GROUP] button:
“EL1: ON” or “EL1: OFF” (Liquid crystal display back light
(EL1 (green)) turns on/off)
+ >  button:
“Parts: ON” (ACCESS LED turns on)
. – button:
“Parts: OFF” (ACCESS LED turns off)
VOLUME + button:
“Beep: ON” (BEEP turns on)
VOLUME – button:
“Beep: OFF” (BEEP turns off)
[REPEAT SOUND] button:
“Initialized” (Time, volume setting etc. turn to the factory
preset state. But the music data, files etc. in the memory are
not changed)
Note:
The following check is performed at the end.
+ >   button: (Only the state where the liquid crystal display
back light (EL1 (green)) turns on)
All liquid crystal display light up.
. – button:(Only the state where the liquid crystal display
back light (EL1 (green)) turns on)
All liquid crystal display go off.
7. All keys inputs are completed, then press the
Nx
button to
restart as usual.
