6.  Assemble LCD501 to the MAIN board.
 (Or 
confi rm being assembled)

7.  Connect regulated dc power supply to the battery terminals on 
the MAIN board, and apply 3.1 V

8.  Slide the [POWER] switch to the on direction to turn the pow-
er on.

9.  Destination setting starts automatically.
10. “Success” is displayed after destination setting is successful.
Note 2: 
At this time, the “DEVINFO.UPG” fi le is deleted auto-
matically when the lock switch of SD card is released.
11.  Stop power supply from the dc regulated power supply.
3. Confi rming method
Procedure:
1.  Connect regulated dc power supply to the battery terminals 
on the MAIN board, and apply 3.1 V, and slide the [POWER] 
switch to the on direction to turn the power on.

2.  While pressing the [FF/

] and [VOL –] keys, slide the 
[HOLD] switch to the on direction.

3.  The test mode menu is displayed, and enter the test mode. Re-
lease the [FF/
M
] and [VOL –] keys.
4. Confi rm the fi rmware version, model name and destination on 
the LCD screen.
