3.  Flow When “PROTECT” is Displayed
“PROTECT” is 
displayed on the 
fluorescent 
indicator tube.
Check that the speakers are connected.

Refer to the “Main board confirmation” on page 2.
After the speakers are disconnected, check that 
the “PROTECT” is displayed on the fluorescent 
indicator tube.

Check the connection state of the speakers.

Check that voltage (+3.3 V) is outputted from the 
pin 2 (OUT) of IC504 on the MAIN board.
NG
Exchange the IC504.

“LOCKED” is

indicator tube when
the EJECT button
on main unit.
Press the EJECT and STOP button on main unit 
five seconds or more simultaneously.
Check that “UNLOCKED” is displayed on the 
fluorescent indicator tube, after “PLEASE WAIT” 
is displayed.

Press the EJECT button on main unit, and check 
that the display on the fluorescent indicator tube 
is disappeared.

Exchange the MAIN board.
