Factory setting
Enter the process adjustment mode.
Bring the cursor on to "INDUSTRY INIT" in page 2.
Set to [ON] using [VOL (+)] or [VOL (–)] key, and
press [OK] to execute the initialization.
When the initialization is complete, the process
adjustment mode screen is replaced by the TUNER
screen.
 Turn off AC power to the AVC system.
(Never shut off the power during the initialization
process.)
5. Background
1. Connect the AVC system, start the unit, and then perform a white balance adjustment on the display.
2. Using the cursor UP/DOWN key, go to the process adjustment mode page 11 and bring up the adjustment
display (High side: 200 gradations, Low side: 48 gradations).
3. Adjust [R GAMMAHI], [G GAMMAHI] and [B GAMMAHI] so that 200-gradation pattern becomes normal.
4. Adjust [R GAMMALO], [G GAMMALO] and [B GAMMALO] so that 48-gradation pattern becomes normal.
Normal pattern should be in accordance with the pattern of the standard monitor.
Reference: x = 0.275, y = 0.270 [Minolta CA-210] (200 gradations)
x = 0.272, y = 0.257 [Minolta CA-210] (48 gradations)
6. Factory Setting
Caution: When initialization is performed, all user setting data including the channel settings are initialized.
(The adjustments done in the process adjustment mode are not initialized.)
The following settings are initialized in this
adjustment.
1) User setting
2) Channel data (e.g. broadcast frequencies)
3) Operation time
4) Auto installation flag
5) Maker optional setting
6) Password data
After the adjustment, cancel the process adjustment mode.
To exit the process adjustment mode, unplug the AC power cable from the outlet to make a forced shutdown.
