SYMPTOM Various errors on the circuit diagram.
CAUSE
There are various errors on the circuit diagram as listed below.
1. +10V feed to the beam current limiter circuit (C817, R808 and R825) is incorrect. The supply
actually comes from Q209, which is the +8V regulator for IC201 (IF IC).
2. +10V feed to R1060 (Q1008 - slow switch) is incorrect. The supply actually comes from Q209,
which is the +8V regulator for IC201 (IF IC).
3. There is no +10V feed (junction of D714 and R724/R729) into the reset generation circuit based
around Q706. This connection does not exist.
4. D509 is designated R509 on the schematic diagram (+5Vb feed into the base of Q506 - vertical
stage).
5. Plug K (CRT PWB drive connector) only has five pins. On the schematic diagram it is drawn
showing six pins. Pin 1 is not used and pin 2 becomes pin 1, pin 6 becomes pin 5. This applies
to both the Mother and CRT PWB's.
Note that the main HT supply should be about 112V when the aerial is disconnected and the blue
mute screen has appeared.
