SYMPTOM No sound or picture.  There is line drive to the base of Q601 (line output transistor).
CAUSE
D609 short circuit.
Note that even though there is a line drive signal to the base of Q601, it is not correct.
The  positive  excursion  of  the  signal  does  not  rise  above  zero  volts  to  turn  the
transistor on.
ACTION
Replace D609, using the part number given below.
