Checking the COMPONENT input
Feed the COMPONENT signal 
to INPUT1 or INPUT 2.
Using panel key or remote 
controller, select INPUT1 or 
INPUT2.
Does image appear onscreen?
Are the colors as specified?
Is the signal type of 
COMPONENT?
Carry out the process 
adjustment.
Is the image contour as 
specified?
No problem with the 
COMPONENT input.
IC8004 (CXA3516R) or 
IC8025 (CVIC_IC) defective.
Check the SOG circuit.
Set the signal type to 
COMPONENT.

Check the COMPONENT (1080I, 720P, 480P, etc.: 
480I not included) signals.
