This section supplements the Hot Folders chapter in Utilities.

Hot Folders provide a simple and automated method of sending print jobs to the Fiery Server 
across the network. The user drops documents into a folder that stores and reuses preset print 
options for printing PostScript and PDF files on the Fiery Server. 

The following formats are now supported for submission through Hot Folders to the Fiery 
Server:

• JDF (Job Definition Format) jobs, when JDF submission is enabled on the Fiery Server

• PDF/VT jobs for variable data printing
