MX-M850/950/1100 Production Configuration Options
With Plockmatic Bookletmaking System
• The Plockmatic bookletmaker (and options) replaces the Saddle Unit (MX-FNX8). Cannot have both in an
installation.
• The Rail unit (MX-XBX1) MUST be ordered with every bookletmaker unit (MX-BMX1)
• The Trimmer unit (MXTMX1) and/or the Covers Insertion Module (MXCFX3) require the basic bookletmaker
(MX-BMX1) to be installed
• The Squarefold unit (MXFDX2) requires the Trimmer unit and the basic bookletmaker unit.
• The Covers Insertion Module fits under the top cover of the booklemaker and takes up no additional space.
If option is not taken, the aperture is blocked off.
• The output module bolts to whichever unit is the last in the installation. It is delivered as part of the basic
bookletmaker unit.
• The Plockmatic should always be configured with the MX-LCX5 to provide adequate A3 and or A4R paper
supply, commensurate with production booklet production.
• The Trimmer option (MXTMX1) should always be included where booklets over 15 sheets (@ 80gsm) are
being produced; if 90 or 100gsm then trimmer is required around 12 sheets.
• Pre-printed covers for booklets can be inserted via the in-line inserter (MX-CFX2) or the Covers Insertion
Module option (MX-CFX3) on the top of the bookletmaker. Both can be included in the configuration.
