Replace the FSS203 sensor (0CWFK21772001).
Ensure the saddle roller has been cleaned and is not
contaminated with paper dust (white) which may cause
misdetection.
In addition, (within the Saddle Tray Unit), check if the
paper lead edge is catching the bracket/frame that sits
directly above the bracket holding the FSS203 sensor.
Reform the bracket/plate to ensure there is a sufficient
and even gap (front to rear) across the plate/bracket to
allow the paper lead edge to pass through unobstructed.

Is it possible to remove the booklet
output quantity restriction, allowing
continuous output by removing the
saddle output tray?
1. Upgrade the MX-FN22 Finisher firmware to the latest
version.
2. Power OFF the MFP device and remove the Rear PWB
Cover of the MX-FN22 finisher.
3. Set all Dip switches on SW3 to OFF (Down) and power
On the MFP/Finisher:-
4. Set SW3 switch 1, 3 & 4 to ON (UP - as shown below)
and press SW1 for 2 seconds:-
5. The current set value will be indicated by LED1 and
LED2
6. Set the required output:-
To enable Saddle Output with limit restriction (DEFAULT) -
press SW1;
To enable Saddle Output with limit restriction (DEFAULT) -
press SW1;
To enable Saddle Output with NO RESTRICTION (Output
tray removed) - press SW2.

Note: LED1 and LED2 will turn ON for 500ms once the
setting is executed.
7. With the new set value indicated by LED1 and LED2,
