- Reduces pressure placed on the paper feed roller by the separation roller (lower separation pressure) 
 [Effects] Improves margins of double feeding of multiple sheets 
[Adverse Affects] Reduces margins of paper feed roller slippage 
 
C. Adjusting Gear Position to F Side 
- Increases pressure placed on the paper feed roller by the separation roller (higher separation 
pressure) 
 [Effects] Improves margins of paper feed roller slippage
