- How to check whether or not Transport earth plate needs to be replaced;
Check if there is the continuity. (Transport earth plate needs to be replaced if there is no continuity.)
1. Turn off the main unit. (Detach AC plug.)
2. Measure resistance value on MFP side.
*Measure the resistance value four times rotating the roller by 90 degrees each time.
3. Measure resistance value on desk side.
*Measure the resistance value four times rotating the roller by 90 degrees each time.
Put a terminal to shaft section (next to rubber roller).
