When the card reader is registered correctly there will be a number for the Product ID and Vendor ID 
 
When  the  card  reader  is  correctly  registered  it  can  then  be  activated  for  Authentication.  In  User 
control/Card Type Reader Settings select Use IC Card for Authentication and press submit 
 
The card is now registered on the MFP and can be used to login to the MFP.
