To open an image from the Viewer:
1. Click the Open icon on the Standard toolbar, or choose the Open command from the File
menu. The Open dialog box appears.

2. Select the applicable image type for the image you want to open from the “Files of type” drop-
down list (for example, JPG, TIF, BMP, etc.).
3. Navigate to the image you want to open.
4. To preview an image as you select it, click the Enable Preview checkbox.
5. To display details about an image (format, name, size, or compression, etc.), select the file and
then click File Info. The File Information dialog box for this image appears.

6. Click OK to close the File Information dialog box.
7. With the image selected, click Open or double-click the image name.
The image is loaded into the Viewer work area.
