Print Server Card

Print Using LPR on WindowsNT4.0
1.
Go to
Control Panel and open Printer. Click Add printer. You will see the
wizard.

Select
My computer then click Next.

Click
Add port and create a new port. If you have already created port when you
installed Print Server Card, continue and choose the port.

Select
LPR Port for Available ports and click New port.
5.
Add IP address of Print Server Card to Name or address of server providing lpd of
Add LPR compatible printer and Print Server Card's port name "lp" to Name of
printer or print queue on that server. Then click
OK.

The list of usable printer port will appear. Click
Close. The name will be added to
the usable printer port. Select the appropriate port then click
Next.
7.
Select the printer driver according to your printer. Then click
Next.
8.
Add the printer name that will be used. You may change the name to your
preference. Then click
Next.
9.
You can select to share the printer. If you want to share the printer, add the printer
name of your choice. You do not need to do anything to
"Select the operating
system of all computers that will......". Click Next.
10. Try the test page printing.
Click on the first or last page to see other AR-NC5J (serv.man9) service manuals if exist.
