Cautions about Temperature Conditions
Operating Temperature
The Commercial Monitor (IDP) must be installed in the proper environmental conditions as shown below:
•
Environmental temperature when in operation
From 0 to 40 degrees C
If the temperature is too high, the electronics components will breakdown or the lifetime of the components will be shortened.
If the temperature is too low, the backlight will breakdown or the lifetime of the backlight will be shortened.
•
Temperature of the LCD panels surface
Below 60 degrees C
If the temperature is too high, the LCD panel will breakdown or uneven colours and / or brightness will occur.
Space Requirements
Even though the environmental temperature is below 40 degrees C, if the space requirement (Covered in the products operation
manual) is not being obtained, the internal temperature of the Commercial Monitor (IDP) will rise and could cause a breakdown of the
product as outlined above.
Please keep and maintain the space requirement.
Solutions
The following solutions are ideas that you can use at product installation:
•
Use of fans
•
Enlarging ventilation
•
Use of a heat exchanger
•
Air conditioning
The effectiveness of each solution differs by each installation environment. Please choose the best solution that fits each environment.
