A new feature has been added to Venta PLU Countdown. This will allow simple 

centralised stock management to be carried out on the POS terminal. Features such 
as Simple Theatre / Cinema Booking and the 86 Function can now be realised. The 

functionality will allow  

 

To realise this function two changes have been made. The introduction of a new 
function (Function 83 – Stock Display), this allows maintenance of the Stock in 

Trading, a function used more with the “86 Function”. 
 

The main change has been the introduction of STOCK.TXT in the data folder. This 

file manages the stock set-up and attributes for the system, and is setup prior to 
operation.
