To enable easy operation in busy bars, a new FastBar function has been added. This 

allows a single screen of items to be displayed constantly, thus making operation. 
easier.  

 

 
A new setting has been included in the S2001.INI file. This sets the type of list to be 

used on the FastBAr. This list should be formatted as a “Stay Down” list with a size 
of either 10x15 or 9x14, giving 150 or 126 buttons respectively.

:: Remove the # below and set the list number "n". The List selected should 
:: be 9x4 or 10x5 format.

When the above setting is made and a Server logs-on the new FastBar screen will 

display. The only method of payment that can be used is Cash. If any other method 

is required a C4 macro should be added to the screen which will send the POS into 
“Normal” mode. It is necessary to have a FastBar button in “Normal” Operation to 

restart the FastBar mode. 
 

 
The following restrictions should be noted 

 

1.  Only Cash can be used for direct Payment. 
2.  If the list is used without the setting in S2001.INI bad display may result 

3.  Items linked to other lists should be avoided 
4.  Link lists should not be used with the 10x15 & 9x14 lists 

 

 

The Demo program now contains a populated list for FastBar. To use it simply 

change the setting to LISTTOP=15 The All Drinks button on “Normal” mode is 
access to FastBar.
