1. To start the Venta application, double click the Venta Pos icon.
2. The first time you run the application you will be prompted with the above message.
Select Yes to Load the Demo Data.
3. Select Yes to Continue Unregistered.
Note: Once the Application has been installed correctly there will be 2 icons on the windows
desktop.
The Network Start icon is used for mapping network drives to Back office computers running
software. Ie Total Control/Stock, Commidea Winti, Ecr Manager.
You will need to edit the file c:\vapp\data\user\netl.bat and enter the required network
paths.
If you then place the Network Start icon into the Start – Programs - Startup group the Pos
will then run this at startup and reconnect the desired network drives.
If no back office software is to be used then the Network Start icon is not required.
Note: You can register the Venta Software later. See “Venta Registration Manual” for further details.
