After the Commidea Application has been installed in accordance with the procedure detailed
by Commidea, be sure to set the MSDE to install as a separate instance as detailed, failure to
do so could prevent Commidea or any other application installed with SQL from operating,
the following settings will ensure that the system will function in Demonstration Mode.

The Demonstration settings WILL NOT be the same as the Live settings but this procedure
will ensure the system functions for demonstration purposes.

From Start – Programs – Commidea run the Commidea Application Manager (CAM) this
application configures the interface between Venta/Venta PRO, I-Link and WINTI 2. For the
purpose of this manual it is assumed that the Chip & PIN Terminal is connected and has been
logged onto the Commidea system.

To enable a functional system only two pages of settings are required within CAM along with
the Venta or Venta PRO settings detailed above. From the Left Hand Menu of CAM under I-
Link set the fields as detailed in the next pages.
